Wander Eye places a fully movable eyeball inside the curved interior of a natural oyster shell. A pale, glassy gaze can be turned by hand, making the work appear curious, distracted, watchful or unexpectedly alive.
Its internal mechanism is assembled, fitted and tested individually. Each shell and eye retain small differences in movement, resting position and surface detail, giving every interpretation a distinct presence.
